Why is there a monthly subscription fee? We offer unlimited customer service and technical support by phone or email. Your website includes a domain name which must be hosted by a server. The monthly subscription fee covers services, technical updates, domain and server hosting, as well as maintenance fees and storage. Each month we will automatically charge your credit card or debit from your checking account for your convenience.

How long will it take to set up our website? Once you sign up, you can immediately begin building your family website. Upon purchase, you will receive an automatic email from us with additional website instructions. Simply log into your site, and begin uploading photos!

How long will we have our website? Once you have purchased your website, it is yours to keep. The domain and hosting fees are a membership-based system that you can renew monthly or annually. The website is yours until you cancel your membership.

Will I need certain software to upload photos? In order to display your photos in your galleries, you will need to upload the files into your website. This process is quick and easy. It will require you to accept a one-time installation of our image up-loader control. This will happen the first time you log into your website as the administrator to create a photo gallery or album. This will enable your photos to be uploaded much faster and will load more photos at one time.

What is the easiest way to inform friends and family about our site? Through your very own website you can use the convenient e-blast feature to inform people about your site. They will receive a link to your site, and if you have chosen to make your website password protected, you can include the password in the e-blast you send. For guests without email, you could inform them of your site through phone calls or simply include your website address in a note card and send by standard mail.

Simply log into the administrative section of your website and on the first tab, "Start", change your design, welcome text, music, and even photos! ("Site-Post" is un-available in the following designs: Dana Point Deco, Newport Nouveau, It's in the hole, Just for Kicks, Sunset in Maui, Scrapbook Fever)

Is there an archiving/storage section for videos and photos? Yes! We offer three website package levels each differing in storage and archiving space (Standard, Classic and Premium). The Standard site holds up to 1,000 photos, the Classic site holds up to 2,500 photos, and the Premium site is unlimited. This is an ideal destination for preserving your family memories in a safe and secure location that is backed up online daily and offline weekly to ensure the safeguarding of your precious memories.

What about currency? The shopping cart allows for prices to be displayed in U.S. Dollars or British Pounds.

Will I have Email accounts? Yes! The Classic and Premium packages include email. Send and receive email from any computer in the world at anytime using yourfamilyname@thefamilypost.com. Your email account(s) will include 25MB of storage with the Classic package and 50MB of storage with the Premium package. Your email capabilities will also include Spam filtering, simplicity of emailing directly through your website to the contacts in your directory, and much more.

How will I know how much space I am using? When you log into Qwik-Post to administer changes to your site, a bar will appear at the top of the page displaying the percentage of storage space used and remaining.
